Jane Anthony, MA

Jane earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University. She has several years of experience working with preteens, teens, and young adults in both school and outpatient settings. She also enjoys providing therapeutic support for adults and couples.

With sensitivity to meeting people where they are, Jane aims to create a collaborative space. Her therapeutic philosophy is rooted in humanistic and existential approaches, emphasizing the phenomenology of emotion, embodied experience, creativity, and curiosity.

Jane's clinical work is informed by psychosocial, developmental, and attachment-based theories. Integrating modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Gestalt therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, she supports clients in deepening emotional processing, increasing psychological flexibility, and developing quality attunement to both internal and relational experiences. Areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, grief and loss, perfectionism, chronic illness, interpersonal distress, and developmental transitions. Prior to becoming a therapist, Jane trained as a professional dancer, an experience that continues to inform her somatic orientation in clinical work.

Jane does not currently participate with health insurance providers, but is available to take new clients with a self-pay option, including Health Savings Account (HSA). You can reach her directly at: 717-400-9191 or janthony@trumanhealth.org
